With over 20 years in agriculture, Trav brings deep expertise in agronomy and procurement. He manages fertiliser, ag chem, and finance sourcing to ensure clients get the best value across the board. At the Crop Opti trial site, Trav works closely with R&D to bring new innovations to the field and helps growers get more from their machinery through tech optimisation and precision tools.
Matt Beddison
With 15 years of agronomy experience, including nine at Crop Opti, Matt combines technical precision with practical farming insight. He leads variable rate applications, zonal soil testing, and machinery setup - specialising in seeder optimisation and chemical safety. Known for his hands-on approach and attention to detail, Matt helps growers fine-tune their systems for real results in the paddock.
Kate Hair
As one of Crop Opti’s founding members, Kate plays a key hands-on role managing accounts and keeping the admin side running smoothly. Her local knowledge, industry insight, and commitment to great service make her a vital connection point between the team and our growers.
Bridget Dorrington
Bridget brings a blend of retail experience and agronomy know-how to the Crop Opti team. She manages fertiliser and ag chem sales while leading our precision ag services, from soil testing and mapping to building variable rate maps that plug straight into the paddock.
Meghan Pohlner
With experience across Agritech and Nuseed, Meghan brings deep agronomy knowledge and a strong passion for precision ag. Her expertise in farming systems and inputs aligns perfectly with Crop Opti’s mission to support growers with practical, data-driven advice. Meghan’s a sharp operator with a genuine love for the land - and a valuable part of the team.
Mark Schulz
Mark manages fertiliser logistics, sales, and delivery across the region, while also supporting precision ag through soil testing and mapping. He oversees the Fert Shed, coordinating blending and product treatment to ensure every load meets the needs of local growers.

From Horsham’s top sparkie to a rising agronomist, Matt’s journey into ag has been hands-on from the start. Working alongside Schulzy in the fert shed, he’s responsible for crafting custom blends, soil testing, and supporting growers with practical, data-backed advice.

A Beulah local, Amanda (Mindy) Chivell will manage Crop Opti’s Beulah business, supporting Mallee growers with fertiliser, agricultural chemicals, and precision agriculture services. She brings practical, local knowledge and will be the key point of contact for the region.

Hailing from Warracknabeal, Shan comes from a strong agricultural background and jumped straight into the ag industry after finishing school. He works closely with growers across the Wimmera and Mallee, supporting fertiliser strategies, paddock mapping, soil testing and crop planning to help set crops up for success.
